Team: Pink Pistols

Position: Blocker (1,2,3) and maybe some day a Jammer

Favorite drink: Water and delicious nourishing beer

Hobbies: I love going to live shows. Guitars, drums, noise, a dancing crowd, you can't ask for anything better. I also do other various geeky things that I won't drone on about. I have been know to type this on more than one occasion though. ROFLMAO!!!11! /dance FTW!

Brief BIO-real or Roller Derby persona: I haven't been playing derby for that long, but the aspect of costumes, rollerskates and hitting people couldn't be passed up. I had heard about roller derby briefly a few years back and then saw the infamous 'Rollergirls' reality TV show, which was fuel on the fire. I couldn't wait to get some skates on and try it out for myself. It wasn't until I graduated from school and moved to Everett that I decided to try some skating out. I then found out that JCRG was near by and came to the first practice I could. I was hooked, even though I couldn't skate. I spent a lot of time saying hello to the floor on more than one occasion due to tangling up my own two feet. Not that it is much different now a days... :P

JCRG: How did you come up with your derby name and what does it mean to you?
RR: I really wanted to incorporate something to do with rock music and tearing it up. I got the 'illa' part obviously from Godzilla because it sounded somewhat funny and tough all at the same time. Rox from rock. Plus I could have the short name Roxi, which i thought was kind of bada**. Then what better then to end it in Rampage.

JCRG: How long have you been skating?
RR: Since last June. Almost one year!

JCRG: What committee do you belong to, and what is your function
RR: PR committee, PR web liason and graphic design diva

JCRG: Why did you join derby?
RR: I was looking for something active, fun and different where I could meet people. It has definitely been a physical challenge, which I like because I have always been active in many different sports and activities. And it sure beats going to the gym and staring at a TV screen while going no where.

JCRG: What is your favorite aspect of derby?
RR: All the people you get to meet is amazing. There are so many different types of people that you meet in this sport from the derby girls, refs and the fans, you can't ask for more diversity and interesting people. That and the fishnets!
